The first fleet battle is a tribute to the old ages sea battle e.g. 15-16th century England vs. French or Spanish. At that era, battleships have limited fire power on front and rear, all sea battle are shoting each others side ways.

Do you know that ship is called Yukikaze 雪風（ゆきかぜ) , in World War II, this ship is regarded as the symbol of the good luck. See Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_destroyer_Yukikaze
However, the flag ship or aircraft carrier which Yukikaze escorted in World War II usually took heavy damage or even sunk in battle. In Space Battleship Yamato, Mr. Leiji Matsumoto tries a different ending - it covered the flag ship Capt. Okita to escape and sacified herself.

- Does artificial intellgence shares emotions and questions about their own existence? (EP #9)
- The existence of ghost /spirit? (EP #14)
