Ok, ok ... let me give you the detail of what happened ...
I was once having afternoon tea at a restaurant ... after I paid the bill I asked the waitress how I could get to a certain place. The waitress had no idea but she offered to ask someone else for me. Then a lady guest came and explained the way to me. She further explained that I'd to go to somewhere else if I wanted quality Beijing duck. She said she could take me there cos it's on her way home. Well ... how could I reject a lovely lady's offer like this?
On another occassion ... I arrived at a city at night and was at total loss about the direction of the place I needed to go to. There was no regular taxi around except some tourist touts. I asked serveral local people but none of them seemed to kown the place. Then an oldcake on his scooter said I needed to take a taxi from the other side of the river, or else the journey would be much longer. He said he'd to wait another hour for his wife and he wouldn't mind taking me to the oppposite side of the river to catch a taxi.
Bro UB ... I'd been a budget traveller for over ten years when I was much young and I thought I could handle situations like these.
