Step 1:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXEiMOFth7g&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div

Step 2: add the word "fire" between ...youtube and .com.. in the url and it becomes "...youtubefire.com..."

Step 3
TUBEFIRE 変´«ダウンロード
Choose the format you like to convert

Step 4
click "変´«¶}©l クリック" button

Step 5
Then you should be able to see the "¶i¦æ状ªp クリック" button.  You can click on it to see the conversion progress.

You will see something like the following

Step 6
Wait for the conversion.

Step 7
click ダウンロードへ¶iむ

Click "³W¬ùに¦P·Nしてダウンロードする" button

(FYI, there is a small typo on your message, you might like to adjust it , I believe you mean to add the word "fire" between youtube and .com  (instead of add the word "tube" in between) , in case other oldcake members type in the incorrect word & couldn't download, ha ha, thanks)

You can convert flv to mp4.

Is the source HD 1080?  If not, what is the point to increase the resolution?  It only increases the file size, not the video quality.  A VCD quality video will not become HD video through such conversion.
