... I ate a lot of McDonald... from see it a gourmet food in 70's in HK to the treat to myself when i was in Rome in 90's when was the first time I travel in Europe and was a poor student, I stuill remember I bought take away and the price for dinning in is more expensive and the ketcup costed a HK dollar or two too ... to the comfort lunch when I was working in Shanghai in mid-90's. when there were not much choice for a HKer in Shanghai, on the economy side.
I did make a special trip to Budapest's McDonald next to the railway station...
And, in Poland, there was McDonald restauant made from a cave... and in south Hungary, there was one using designer chairs.
My all time favorite is Fish-Mac and Egg McMuffin (the poor man's egg benedit)
BTW, I miss Jack-in-the-box...
