I thought that, if the police did not even kill the hijacker but the hostages did it themselves, then the policemen would be completely useless (or worse then useless becoz I suspect they hurt/ killed some of the hostages!)
Anyway the whole thing was really sad and handled in such an unprofessional manner by the Philipino police (and started by one)!
