以前有個朋友仔住藍田，經常幫襯佢"隔離"間士多，但佢係住9樓的...

p.s. 果時好似未興叫公屋，一般叫做廉租屋~

熟食檔...在家煮熟/翻熱d食物, 如 腸粉, 炒麵, 粉果, 燒賣, 糯米飯.....住佢地隔離可以上門買黎食.

除非隔離鄰舍投訴, 通常都相安無事. 食野仲好方便.

仲有人在家中教小朋友做功課!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

於是屋主事主係自己門口掛上內有香肉邪一邪間公屋私房齋...~!

只記得,有西醫,私娼,字花,外圍.

我對面係白粉檔.

Of course.  I recalled many tenants in the Resettlement Estate had their own business.  For example, an old lady who opened a mini-store to sell candy and snack in her house.  SOme tenants worked as hawkers and produced Siu-Mine, Fish Ball and so on.

Besides some of triad members who are also tenants would operate Gambling activities like 字花 & 外圍 and sold 白粉．．．．．

嗰個年代，只要肯做的確有好多揾錢門路。而家政府左管右管，想做吓小生意揾兩餐都唔係咁易。可能呢啲就叫社會進步啦。

同意,

一d努力既人就比政府迫下迫下,

想自力更生的機會都無,

反而有d人可以唔做野,

等政府接濟,

呢d人就成日聲大大,

政府就怕左佢地.

I lived in Tung Tau Estate in my childhood period.

I absolutely concur your view.

When I was young, many people with low education background could work as hawkers, craftsman or went to work at factories.

However, with the migration of factories to mainland China, many low educated people might lose their jobs.  The modernization of the system, the Government will enforce to prosecute those worked as hawkers without proper registered licences.

So, it a fate for those low educated person to confront with the great pressure owing to the tremedous and radical evolution of the society. 

Besides that, with the well protection of the social welfare system and caused many people changed their mind set.
