This famous music is from the french music composer Richard Clayderman, he was been to HK for concert around 1985.

This music was used in some of tv show and drama in either ATV or TVB on 80's.

Hi tnd1964, yes you are right , Richard Clayderman held a concert in HK in 1985 (I was there!   Did you goto his concert too?   ~ might have bumped into you that night, ha ha ) 

From memory, that concert was held on the same day as the opening of Hong Kong SOGO Department Store in Causeway Bay ~ I remember I went to the SOGO store that day (loved it from Day1! ) and then later that evening went to Richard Clayderman's concert!  

I really like his songs, he is a great composer & pianist!  I have many of his tapes, my mum loves listening to his songs too!

有無人記得以前 Causeway Bay 間"松板屋"每晚關門之前嘟一定 played 一隻歌曲 (~ I guess they used that song to remind customers that it's their closing time ~ "趕客"  )

Does anyone still remember that song & what it's called? (I can't remember the melody anymore, but should be able to recognise it when I listen to it again.  Has anyone got that song?)

I once owned that CD but its toooooooooooooo" Grey ", listen more grey more..so at the end I give it to someone...now that soundtrack is really hard to find again..

I couldn't remember where I sat (probably also "at the peak" too ) , I went to the concert with family

From memory, the date of that concert might have been "31 July 1985" or "30 June 1985" or "31 May 1985" ( but I might be wrong) ~ I just tried to look up information about the opening day of SOGO on their website to check the date (as it should be the same date as Richard Clayderman's concert), but SOGO's website only says "SOGO commenced its operations in 1985", not date was mentioned .
