OK, I am still learning how to type Chinese (because I live in Australia and I don’t have many chance to learn typing Chinese), please let me express in English this time. The song “wake me up before you go go” was very popular. This song was probably played every night in Disco such as Hollywood East and Canton (Has anyone here been there?) in the mid 80s’ “Last Christmas” is another song I like - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B4cYbju0H8 I think the song "Careless Whisper" was awarded "best english song" by TVB in mid 80s' because I can remember this was awarded in TV. - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1XNBb4RIS0 In my memory Wham was quite popular in the mid 80s’. At the same time, other popular bands were: Tears for fears Duran Duran Power House Checkers (Japanese)

講起Wham，我記有佢0地大紅時期，我響太古城中心地下間唱片舖睇野，有個小朋友同佢阿媽衝入0黎好大聲猛話要買Ham，揾0左一輪（其實響當眼地方會見到），跟住佢走去Counter問個職員有無Ham呀，個職員話：乜野Ham呀，無火腿賣0個喎喱度。我估其實個職員知佢想買Wham，特登玩佢，佢0地拉据0左一輪。我唯有扮正義朋友問小朋友係咪Wham呀至打到完場

Apart from Wake me up before you go go, Last Christmas, Careless Whsiper,

I also love Club Tropicana, Where did your heart go, Bad Boys, Freedom, Everything she wants, et al.

Anyone watched film "Music and Lyrics" ?

They played Wham! as a joke. Hugh Grant is practically Andrew Ridgeley. The MV of "Pop! goes my heart" and "Meaningless KIss'" are just ...hiliarious.

Highly recommended for old cakes like us!!!

The writer of this film Marc Lawrence said he watched a lot of bands, mostly Wham! and Duran Duran when making this film.

In the film, Hugh Grant starred a has-been singer who became an 'old-cake' singer who has been forgotten by everyone while the other member of the band became a huge star. That was practically saying George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley.

I remember in the film, it says "The Question is : Do you remember the name of the other guy of Pop!(name of the band in the film, also use an exclamation mark after the name, exactly copied from Wham!)" just make everyone think of Wham!
