令人忘憂的80年代迷幻Disco/ Remix 音樂

細個有好多煩惱,不如意事，一個殘破,臘塌,不快樂的家。。。 但每當聽住呢D Remix/ Mega Mix 唱片，望住張透明膠碟不停甘轉，電子節拍不斷重複又重複，就好似入左一個奇幻/乾淨/清新/無憂無慮的新世界甘 。同大家分享吓呢D昔日的型歌:

another version "hey hey Guy"... I have very few friend know this song, trust 'Tonight' is a bigger hit in HK for Ken laszlo.

 

I remember Ken was the special guest of a RTHK music presentation (best 10 songs) in 80's and I did not know how but I managed to get a ticket of the show. yet, since he was the last performer of the show and not many people know him, so people were just leaving when he started to sing...so bad.

 

"In your Eyes" have a nice melody  too but I don't think it really get that popular in HK, even Louis Yuen had a cantonese cover verison.

 

yes, Euro-beat/ New romantic / Italian sync pop  were very good.. but they did not get much respect...when I was a kid, you need to listen to DM/ Joy Division/ New Order...and Modern Talking and Euro-beat were commented as 'no-brain' songs... I like DM/ JD/ NO  too but I also like others...

見到個標題, 忍不住要搭咀  因為勁鍾意80's disco 及跳舞歌, Tarzan Boy  曾經係我日日返學都要帶walkman 聽的歌, 還有 I like chopin, Human League 的 Don't you want me.....等等不能盡錄, 但最難忘是 designer music, 當年 hit 到爆, 電影 [靚妹仔]也用此曲, 黑膠碟曾賣斷市, 買到後立刻回家用對 JBL 開到大大聲轟機, DISCO 內每次播這首歌D人就好 high 出晒去舞池玩.

 

唔知點解現在 youtube 聽無晒氣氛和強勁感覺, 唔通真係要用返大 HI FI 聽 ?

No, Reed's "In your eyes" is not featured in "Canton".

 

The song  is in Remix-Mega-Mix series by Rock-in Rocord (Keith Yip) .  I think it is from volume one. Thare was an additional  ballet version

 

Actually, Paradox (Mone-Katt-Yuen), also from Rock-in  had a few songs covered.   

 

  

 

You guys go to "Tung Po" restaurant? they play 'Designer Music' a few times.

 

Mak-Tak-Wo also danced along with  'Designer Music' when he competed the HK best trend dance ages ago.

 

Did  Rita-Maria-Caprio sing 'Funky Town" in the 1st 'New singer" competition? Or "sexy music"? I cannot remember.....   

 

yes, I like that sort of music a lot. being a poor student, we always rented a record and never buy it at HK$ 8/ 3 days. That HK$8 is also always collected from a few frends together and we go to Sino center/ Hollywood center to rent the record. 

 

Yes, this sort of music really make you forget the trouble and I do hope "Ar woo" really have less trouble and be positive.

係喎, 差點忘了funky town & sexy music 兩首, 可能都不屬於我喜愛歌曲, 所以忘記了, youtube 找到兩首歌原唱者, 我都係第一次睇, 幾得意, 現在才發現 [獨自去偷歡] 原來抄自 sexy music 前奏曲.

 

 

 

以前好多喜歡的英文歌及歌手: Pet Shop Boy, Paul Young, David Bowie, Eurythmics, Madonna' Crazy for you, Wham's Wake me up before you go go & Careless Whisper, Whitney Houston 很多首, Yazoo's Don't Go, Billy Joel's Uptown Girl, Duran Duran 某幾首, 當年流行一時 joy 的 Touch by touch 好搶耳, 但唔襟聽,  也不太喜歡 A-ha , 可能覺得這兩隊band玩的音樂太造作和太電子化, 太假聲 ? 今天再聽依然有此感覺 

 

 

反而喜歡旋律襟聽的Self Control, Against all odds.......

以前太多好聽英文歌曲, 寫唔晒, 那時的流行樂曲令人的精神世界也豐富起來, 充滿活力, 可惜去到90's 後期, 不論中/西/日流行曲水準都開始退步, 再買唔到好聽至愛不釋手的英文歌cd , 那時改了聽 Kenny G 的音樂, 又買了一隻 Enya 來聽.

漏咗隻曇花一現曾經好 hit 既 Mickey, 隻歌節奏強勁, 但亦係唔襟聽, 不及 Tarzan Boy, Flash Dance What a feeling & Maniac 等旋律好聽,

My fault. while there are many nice songs shared here by all of you, I think Ar Woo was not talking about those, he prefers those so-called Euro-beat/ Boat music/...

 

Tarzan Boy is but

What a feeling is not.

 

In your eyes is but

designer music is not

 

Nowhere girl/ Mickey/ against all odds/ don't you want me/ a-ha/ are not.

 

But they are all good.

BTW, Mickey is good and very popular, going to American top 40. It is the 1st cut in side-A of HK record's 'Hollywood Night". Side-B is 'I eat cannibals...which is another classic. But, again, Mickey is not Euro-beat.
